Its going to be bumpier when you dont have as much tire to soak up the litle pebbles. Also they tend to lose air quicker than 16 or 17 tires.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

It also depends on the wheel's offset. If it has a negative (deepdish) offset, it'll rub hitting dips if your car is lowered. That's the problem I have with my 18s. My 16s however, don't rub at all. It also sits higher than my 18s.99 Camaro Z28 A4
R.I.P. 00 Firebird 3.8
14.89 @ 90, 2.03 60\'

16s are ideal for out car. Thats why they are made with them.
Any less sidewall, ride is affected.
Any more width though, and you gain traction, etc.
16s will ride better than 17s which will ride better than 18s, etc.
If you want all looks, get 18s.
If you want all comfort, get 16s.
If you want a compromise, get 17s.

18's are great my ride is a lot stiffer but my car is also lowered. I can take turns faster do to the extra inchs in width. I feel just about every bump but get just about every good comment. go with the 18's plus mine are a lot lighter than stock so no performance loss.2005 Cavalier LS Sport M5
http://members.cardomain.com/firefighter8615

they will make ride quality worse, but adjustable shocks will help that. tey will look very nice. the wider the tire is, the more it'll want to wander and follow the road. also, if u get forged rims like SSR's, they won't affect u much, and may possible help u.2001 Arctic White Firebird
More mods than I\'m allowed to list!
