I'm planning to get 17" C5 replica, but the only problem is what kinda of tires should I get? Someone said it should be atleast 275/40/17. Is that a good idea? Or should I go with 255/40/17? Which brand is good for a daily driver? Is the Falken ZIEX 512 good tires to get for those 17"? TIA.

Well the answer to your tire size question is simple, it just depends on how wide the wheels are that you are looking to get.
17X8.5 -> 255/40-17 OR 245/45-17
17X9.5 -> 275/40-17
Personally, i would go with the 17X9.5 C5 replicas wrapped in a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 GS(275/40-17) tires.2000 Monterey Maroon Chevrolet Camaro
3.8L V-6/4spd Auto

If they are 8.5's go with that 255/40 tire. And I can account that the falkens are good tires. I have the 275/40/17 Falken Ze-512 tire. Damn good tire. Excellent wet traction, and dry traction.Jordan
15.09@90.7
1995 Camaro 3.4 M5
