• Suspension Upgrade?

Maybe I will get burned for asking this, but I would rather have several options to choose from.

I looking into getting some suspension upgrades. I want to increase firmness and cornering ablilities. I also would like to lower the car around 1". Would like ride quality to be smooth, but If its a little jagged I wouldn't mind. Not really sure what all I would need to get besides sway bars, control arms, springs, bushings, etc. Also if you have any name brands that you prefer I would like to know those aswell. Thanks.

get a nice wide set of tires...i have spohn sway bars front and rear and they made a noticeable difference, i also have a hotchkis tower brace, and hotchkis LCAs, and panhard rod for the launch..if you're lowering the car you might wanna go with some relocators in the rear...check out rksport.com or fasttoys.net ...they usually have a lot of stuff for pretty good prices

Start with Hotchkis springs and Bilstein HD shocks. That will lower the car about 1" all around and make it sit level.

Sub frame connectors are AWESOME. You should get those as fast as possible. BMR Tubular weld in ones work as good as any.

After that I would look into sway bars. There is a lot of discussions around here between what sizes you should get. I got a 32MM front sway bar and love it. I plan on getting a 21MM sway bar for the rear.

Lower control arms and pan hard bar will help the rear tires stay on the ground when taking corners or launching it at the track. A good investment as well. I like an all Poly setup on mine. A nice middle ground between rod ends and rubber.

If you do shocks, springs, subframe conectors, sway bars, LCAs and PHB... you'll have a corner carving champ. :D

If you need any help or have questions IM me @ Big Hawgs... more then willing to share thoughts and opinions on suspension stuff.

The regular Bilstein HDs are meant for stock ride height.

If you lower the car the shock will need to be revalved...

I went with the Bilstein/ Eibach combo, SLP STB and subframes, BMR poly/poly LCA's and PHR, and a Prothane poly TA bushing. Very nice indeed.

I have no problems with my regular Bilstein HDs and Hotchkis springs... I have heard of people getting them revalved through Strano.
