• Tire Donut FYI

Granted I have never had to put a donut on before, and it was 2:30 am in the snow. If you put the donut on backwards, it will lock the wheel you put it on.

Save yourself the embarassment at the dealership, and don't let this happen to you.

OK OK, granted it was 2:30 AM, but how do you put it onBACKWARDS?? Wouldn't you say to yourself, "Man, this wheel doesn't really fit well." or "Why is there such a big lip? Is this a deep dish donut?"

From what Chevrolet said, alot of people actually put the donut on backwards. The way the Camaro is set up in that wheel, by tighting the lugs, the donut put pressure on caliper.

ah, that's what I figured he meant.

I see this happen a lot. Just a heads up.
A LOT of people put the lug nuts on backwards too. Not so much camaros, but other cars. our lugnuts are kinda hard to put on backwards. I once had a guy in a brand new Z3 with the donut on backwards and the lugs on backwards. Very unsafe.
