ok, i want to keep all stock suspension parts except i will be changing to new shocks and springs to restore ride hight and quality. i want to change all of my bushings because there all worn out in some way or another. i do not want poly just a nice hard rubber. my ? is, can i get the bushings at my local auto store or would i have to order them online.

    sorry if its confusing?

You could upgrade to the 1LE suspension parts. Those still use rubber bushings, just slightly harder than the stock pieces.

If you're only looking to replace with stock parts you can get take-off DeCarbon shocks from SLP or eBay. Save you from paying dealer prices anyway.

Any GM dealer. There used to be one that did a lot of online sales, Dal Lambert's I think?

And you'd need the parts, not just the bushings. 1LE suspension parts are the GM performance parts. Swaybars, lower control arms, etc. I'm not aware of any harder rubber durometer for stock size bushings.
