Does one need to get aftermarket LCA's to benefit from relocation brackets?
I've been told that the relo's will provide more traction than LCA's from a knowledgeable 3rd gen friend of mine, but I want to do this right for my car.
THanks!
ps... my setup will include 3.42's, lsd, alum ds and converter.

uh relocation brackets are useless really unless your car is lowered. LCA's will help 100,000 times more than just relocation brackets. now if your car is lowered then some relocation brackets along with some LCA's will be a nice setup
thanks ... i warned you i was a suspension rookie

Navy's got it down. Also the main advantage in aftermarket LCAs is the stiffer bushings, nothing else. Billet aluminum this, tubular that, its all just as strong as the ubent steel stockers - its just stock bushings are insanely soft and hop and skip a bunch.
The ultimate LCA is a poly/rod G2 or double rod ended unit.
Yup, relocation brackets only benifit lowered cars.
The stock trailing arms have rubber squishy bushings and are made of flimsy steel
I upgraded to hotchkis boxed trailing arms with poly bushings, BIG improvement in traction.
It completely eliminated wheel hop
