  • LCA lube...

I just ordered Lakewood LCAs slightly used and wanted to know what the best grease to put on em would be. I've been told if I don't lube em up they will squeek like hell. BTW - I ordered some of aftermarket LCA bolts from Umiperformance to help. Just wanna get em installed right. Thanks.

I have lakewood LCA's also. They suck ***. Check to make sure the grease fittings are in properly, cause mine were a ***** and a half to get in.

But other than that, i just used standard grease you put in a grease gun.

i will tell you this: they do work well, i just didnt like the way the grease fittings fit in the friggin things.

I used Bearing grease for the outside of the bushings to help them slide in and not sqweak. I used marine grade grease to inject inside the bushings via a grease gun. No sqweaks. Tighten the every living piss out of them... As hard as you can.
