I got HKS pads recently to go with the autozone blanks. They worked pretty good until recently the pads start making noise. I looked at it, the brake pads are kinda loose against the calipers so they kept hiting each other... what should i do? I bought some orange stuff something called brake quieter or some, they don't work.
What should i DO? do i have to change a new set of pads? or there is something wrong with the caliper housing??
Check to make sure the rotors are true - it sounds like some warping or other runout is pushing the pads back too far, they really shouldn't be if everything was true.
You might also want to rebleed the brakes. Maybe an air bubble is doing the same (letting the pads draw back too far)
