bmr stb 3.4 problem

I can't get this over the black piece attached on the drivers side of the throttle body, before I go "customizing" this box I was wondering if there is a way around it or do I just have to manhandle it on.

Any help would be appreciated as the car waiting.

You mean the brace is hitting the black box where the throttle cables hook up to the throttle body?

I bought one, did the same thing. Turned out it was a V8 STB... :mad:

Mine was barely touching so i put some washers underneath to where it bolts up to to give it the 1/8'' more of clearance that it needed.

Now that gets to me, the thing says its for a v6, yet it doesn't fit the 3.4. Back to the sales rep.

hmm... I never had a problem other then the AC line, while installing it on my old car. But then again I too the cover off the throttle cable on my car.
