ok, i have SEARCHED, but i am purchasing the rear end from a 95 z, and have the opportunity to get both the front and rear sways, for like 30 bux. here's the deal, currently i have stock decarbons on my 94, but when i install the sways i will go w/ either slp to's, or konis. will this setup still cuase oversteer and be harmful like many of the pots i have read, or will my spring and shovk upgrade help this. basically, tell me yes or no, and why or why not. also, tell me what i would have to do to make this work. thanks,

front bar is the same as ours. rear is 2mm bigger. you will get oversteer with just that setup, but if you put aftermarket shocks on, and springs, it will be much easier to handle. if I were you, i wouldnt bother with it, thats basically $30 for just the rear. Save your money, and after you upgrade the shocks and springs, THEN get some real swaybars and upgrade both the front and rear.

Don't bother with the front, as Ian said it's the same 30mm as the V6 stock. See if you can get the 19mm thrown in with the rear so you won't have to buy it later. I think with stiffer springs and shocks you'd be fine with 30/19 but you could always go with the 1LE 32mm front to even them out. Poly endlinks are shorter than stock and help to reduce play in the stock bars too. The argument goes further. The 21mm is clearly bad. The 19mm may be bad, as Ian's experience would indicate.
The problem is that the handling balance depends so much on so many things. Springs, tires, shocks, road conditions, weight in the car, how fast you turn the wheel, and on and on. Stock rear bars work well, and most of the knowledgeable V8 guys don't change them unless they are road racers with stiff springs. +4mm in the back (or, truly ridiculous, +6mm) is a bad idea. +2mm may be bad.
