I'm wondering why I can get a wilwood 6-piston front brake kit from LGmotorsports for $1300 when most other 6-piston kits are upwards of $3000-$3500? also, for rear brakes, the wilwood kit at Lg is 700 compared to 1500-2000 on other websites. why suck a big difference in price?

The wilwoods are a smaller company with less marketing behind them, but their brakes are very good. Baer's have a bit more technology in them, but the wilwoods are huge enough 2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

When you get into the "big brakes" 6 piston the lack of quality is not there. Figure this w/ 6 pistons on our cars will make the car come to a hault instantaniously. I like Wilwood there a great company,I ahve those brakes on my enduro kart, and they are huge brakes on a kart. I stop on a dime. cool. I'm lookin at em mainly cuz they come w/ pretty much everything(rotors, pads, calipers, stainless steel lines), and since I'll bet getting some wider, stickier tires all around along w/ 17" rims. plus, parents don't usually trip when u talk about upgrading ur brakes. :D2001 Arctic White Firebird<br />More mods than I\'m allowed to list!
