I was charged 200 for my 1LE springs. 60 for the rear (easy install I wish I did myself) and 140 for the fronts, which from what I hear are a real pain in the...

Took me about two days to do the fronts, I wouldn't pay somebody to do something I know I could do.

You can do the rears yourself.
The fronts require you to compress the springs to take them off the shocks. Its very time consuming, and, as we all know, time = money.~Derrick My Webpage
\'96 3.8L V6 M5 Firebird Y87 | 162.8 RWHP / 196.7 RWTQ
• SLP CAI • Y87 Package - 3.23s • 180º thermo w/ fan switch • TB spacer from DEE
1991 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4x4

180 seems cheaper than what i've seen other people getting quoted. i paid a friend 100 to do mine. we got it done in just a few hours. the rears are pretty easy, you can do yourself. if you trust yourself to take apart the front i would do it on your own and rent a spring compressor or take the fronts to a shop. or else you can do the rears yourself and have someone else do the fronts.94 Firebird - Red A4
http://members.cardomain.com/predatorbird

I got ripped off when I had mine installed. I bought them thinking I could do it myself, then had kindof a close call trying to compress the fronts and decided to take it somewhere to get it done. There are not really any good shops around here that I know of to take it, so I ended up going to the dealership, and it was about $350 including alignment. That was just the fronts, did the back myself.2000 Red Firebird W68

I did mine myself at my friends shop. Didnt use compressors, just let the front ones out slowly. It worked fine. It took us a little more then 2 hours. Granted I had it up on a lift. The fronts are the worst. 15 minutes for the rear. Good Luck!
