  • Noise form rear end

Hello I have a 2002 Camaro base coupe. My question is when I go over a hump at slow speed I hear a springing sound from the rear end is this normal or is something wrong back there. Thank you for any help.

Yup, I have a similar sound. I have the squeaking, and a clunk when I go over bigger bumps.

Add me to the list...I don't even know where to look. If my car is just sitting there and I press down on the rear, it sounds like a bed spring.

Is that what the problem is...the springs?

Almost every F-body has these noises, but it gets real loud in the cold.

                Kinda like F-body Arthritis.

                Sorry for the lame joke.
