• Need help buying new tires

Right now I have 245/50s all around. I am wanting to replace the front with 225/55. I would keep the rears on till they wore out then replace them with 225/55 and buy 225/50 for the front. My question: would new 225/55 on the front and worn 245/50 on the back look stupid, or should I go with 225/50 now? I'm trying to keep my speedo accurate while going with a skinnier, non-directional tire.

You mean 255/50's...right?
225/50's would look dopy on any f-bod

If you still have your 245's, then put them on the front and the new 255's on the back. There isn't really much difference in width, but put the wider tires in the back. It helps the morale.

WHY would you want to put 225's up front? or anywhere on an F-Body for that matter? ...unless you're putting on snow tires, then you will be forgiven.

How about 255/50 in the back? COuld I still rotate them to the front or are they to wide? Will a taller tire increase your accelleration speed?

taller tire will not increase acceleration speed, small tire does that.
Taller tire will give you higher top speed, less acceleration. I don't think your speedometer will be off by much though, maybe like 2 or 3 mph.
