Lightweight 17" wheels?

Does anyone know what are some good lightweight 17's that would be close to stock weight? Right now I have the 98 Z28 5-spoke wheels (painted). I would like to get some chrome/polished 17's but don't want to lose any performance. I've been thinking about Boyd Coddington Smoothie's or Y2K C5 wheels. Or I could just stick with the 16's and possibly get the same rims in chrome instead.

I know that SSR C-1's advertised on tirerack weight about 1-2 lbs les than the stock 16x8's. The SSR's are also 18x9.5 in size. 1 lb. less for a rim 2" larger in diameter and 1.5" wider. These show the gains in weight achieved from forged rims. I haven't seen them in 17" sizes. maybe if u called tirerack, they might have some. firehawk and SS rims in 17x9 sizes are only 2-3 lbs. heavier than 16x8's, meaning 3-5 lbs. heavier than the SSR's. Those numbers don't even have tires mounted on the rims.

not sure, but i know the Eagle 185's are pretty light for what they are.

22 lbs, not the best around as far as weight goes, but theyre a lot better than some of the wheels out there. There are plenty that are lighter, but i noticed no performance difference as far as acceleration.

how much do the stock 5-spokes weigh?

stock 5-spokes are 19.5 lbs. for 16x8. I just checked on the SSR Competition's. they're 17.6 lbs. for 18x9.5 size.

my buddy has those exact wheels on his audi a4. i didnt know they came in the right pattern for our cars. they are very nice wheels.
