  • Bridgestone Blizzaks

I just put a set of these on my Neon, and I have to say, it's not all marketing hype. These things stick to the snow like hot glue.

My question is, I'm recommending my buddy put a set on his Z28 so he doesn't crash it this Winter. He has the stock 245 50 16s, so I'm recommending 225 55 16s, which is the closest diameter (pretty damn close) Bridgestone makes.

Has anyone run the Blizzaks on their Fbody before? Wondering if its worth it. I've got 14" wheels on the Neon, so that's helping me in the snow a lot. Is it worth it for 16s?

Bridgestone also makes a 215/60-16. Better snow traction, not as good dry weather handling as the one you're looking at.

Haven't tried them on my fbody, don't see why they wouldn't work great, if he gets all 4.

These are what I have on my Firebird. This will be the 4th Milwaukee winter for them. I can't imagine using anything else.

I run 215/65R16 blizzaks, fit in the wheel well fine, and raise the car up just a little bit for thoes chunks of ice and snow in the middle of the road.

Are you talkin' 'bout the LM-22's or the WS-50's?
I just put a set of WS-50's on my Cavalier, and they are unbelievable.
The LM-22's are not supposed to be as good in the snow, but they handle better.
I would never take the Camaro out in any serious weather, but the LM-22's might be nice to have just in case.

We're talking about both. The LM-22s are the 225/55s, the WS-50s are the 215/60s.
