ok is it true that having wider tires on the back of your car help you with you launch I have a 94 and so far I have done a k&n cia, flowmaster exhaust and a hi-flow cat soon to be underdrive pullies and headers but I have notice since the up grades when I slam on the gas I sit there and burn for like 3sec and then take off so would wider tires in the back help the problem out and give me a better lauch and which size can my stock rim hold any answers would be great or should I go up one size in the rims thanks again

well.. there is alot too it..

you can definatly step your tires up to the stock z28 size... thats an option..

you can get bigger wheels, and put yet wider tires on.. thats an option..

or you can jsut get stickyer tires.. (potenza re730's.. comp TA, kdw.. ect ect)

look at your budget and see what you want to do..

I agree with all of the above, specially with the launch, learn it well and you'll get better at it remember that when racing every little detail adds to a victory. GOOD LUCK!

might be helpful to know what size & brand of tires you're running right now.

hopefully you aren't running on some 215/60/16 eagle ga's
