aurora tires???

Ive been looking into some new Z06 rims w/tires, and they come with this description of the tires:

""They are the Aurora K103 tires. Made in Korea. All four tires are 275/40ZR17. It is "ZR" rated, which has a speed rating up to 149 MPH. The ratings are 240/A/A. They are speed rated 98W for up to 168 MPH. The tires have been mounted and balance using the Hunter GSP9700 Vibration control system. The tires have been mounted and then balanced on the latest Hunter GSP 9700 Vibration Control System. ""


anyone know anything good/bad about these? thanks.

All I know is that's a soft tire compound to only get a 240 tread wear rating... expect to replace them not too long after you put em on if you drive hard.

Just wondering, I am looking at the same thing for my 94 camaro. Got a price today of $201.62 for Black with polished rim Z06 by Topline. Tires are 275/40/17s Ventus k104 for $146.79ea (Hankooks) What are your people asking for? Mine is by Les Schwab, a local company in the northwest.

I've heard some mixed emotions on Hankook tires. A co-worker has them on his '98 GT rus-tang and hates them, and I have a friend that has them on his '72 vette and loves them. Dunno, never actually had a set, but if you get them, please post your comments. I'd like to get more opinions on those tires. ;)

I have the hankook Ventus tires on my camaro and I love them. They have great grip and ride smooth. They have a compound in them that is a mix of sand and rubber which gives them that extra grip on the road. Nothing but positive stuff over here for the hankook ventus tires. They look great too.

yea, what exactly is hankook? the ones im getting i will post a "review" on on this thread when i get them in a week or so.
