• Guess who has real nice rotors now?

Thumbs up for KVR, fasttoys, and all that goot $hit.

I ordered KVR slotted rotors, silver cad-coating, and carbon-metallic pads on friday. after a call, and a verification email, they were shipped (i assume friday also). These things came from Canada, and were at my doorstep today, Tuesday! PROPS TO www.fasttoys.net for that one!

Anyway, i put them on tonight. about an hour and a half of work total, in the dark. The rotors look sweet! I did the break in procedure, let them cool down, then took them out, staying on them lightly at first, then gradually working my way up. At the end of the night i did a stop at like 75% pressure, and WOW.

THESE THINGS ARE GREAT! i can wait to try them out at real high speeds. Its weird to stop and actually not feel the car shudder slightly.

Anyway, ill post before and after pictures tommorrow. I took them tonight while i was doing it. Felt good to get my hands dirty again after 4 months of college......

dont forget to torque your lugnuts to 100 FTlbs each so that the pressure is spread evenly across the hub/rotor to prevent warpage... dont wanna have any expensive rotors warpin prematurely

look at you with those fancy slotted rotors.. lol.. I just got the blanks when I did mine..

              they look nice though..

and they wont warp.. but you shuld still torque up the lugs correctly jsut to be safe..

best part about the KVR's .. they will look jsut like they do now pretty much forver the coatings are soooooo worth it..

cool, the coating wore off where the pads touch already, but the centers and the outer lip still have it, and they look great.

is the torque spec actually 100 ft lbs?
