I got a set to go on my 10 Spoke SS wheels on my 97 and when i got them mounted and balanced they put around 40psi in all of them. I was just wondering do i need to modify the psi on the tires any more.

Too high. Go with the recommended pressure from the factory and fine tune it from there.
30/30 for normal driving and 35/35 for high speed use. Most people find a nice balance between those two ranges.
I'm also looking at buying those tires, so I would be interested to know how you like them. Traction, road noise, etc. Can't beat the price that's for sure. -

I have a set. Great dry traction, awesome wet traction. No road noise, good cornering. and definately a great price. I'm very happy w/ mine. I keep my pressure around 30-32 all the way around.\'97 Camaro 3.8LComment

I keep mine at around 42ish on my Goodyear Eagle T/R's.....hmm, going by what you guys are saying mine seems high. But the 42 still doesnt exceed the maximum pressure rating.....Comment

i just have noticed something since my new wheels and tires went on. I changed the pressure from 40-32 before i mounted them on the car and i do see a difference in how it rides and stuff. But now if im like riding on a wet rd at good speeds 45-55 mph i notice the back end is tuging back and fourth real quickly and then it stops and after a while it does it again. Im not trying to get it to do that but it does.
