quote:
Just thought I would let you know this will not tell you if your rear rotors are warped. The E-brake system does not apply the rear caliper. It has a "drum" or "hat" system in the center or the rotor which applies just like a drum brake. So when you apply the E-brake this will only activate the E-brake (inner drum) and not the caliper. I have seen many people make this mistake before and I just thought I would let you know.

right...i dont think he understood what i said in my earlier post, i should've explained more i guess...
Your right WickEdSix9838. Sorry I didn't mean to say the same thing over again. Should have taken the time and read all the posts. I didn't even realize you posted about that.
i can tell you for sure that its your rear rotors and it comes from power braking... and if you just replaced your pads without getting your rotors turned, your brakes are not working as smooth as they could.
I have the same issue. I replaced my entire rear end, and it still persists. I will replace the front discs next. I already replaced the pads in front.
it could be crappy tires. if the tires are about to lock up, maybe the abs sensor is predicting lock-up and causing the car to do it's thing. I know that stickier tires helped me fix that problem, untill I really warped the rotors and wore out the pads.

I had the same thing wrong with my brakes. It ended up being a warped rotor, but my car was under warrenty so GM hooked me up with new brakes and the car is back to normal. Couldn't that be caused by powerbraking alot, or what?
