  • which shocks for camaro

Im planning to change my shocks, the autoparts has the Monroe Gas-matic rears for $14 a piece and the front ones for $50 a piece
now should I go with those or the ones from slp takeoffs which ones are better

Well, as far as performance goes, neither one of them are very good, but they will work if you are on a tight budget.

yeah, i gotta agree with that... the take off's are your best bet but depending on what you are paying for them, you could almost get a set of bilstein hd's... thats what im running and they work rather well on my car.

My vote goes to the bilsteins as well. Yes, they're a little pricey, but ride very well and have lifetime replacement on them.

If you can't afford anything better, then definetly get a set of take-offs.

i would go for the slp take offs. i dont know how much slp charges now for their take offs but i would rather go with the factory specs. rather than monroe. i hear that the factory shocks are probably good for about 30,000 miles (give or take a few thousand miles). i've never used the monroe before, but I'm pretty sure that GM used the decarbon shocks on the Camaro, even though a lot of people might complain a lot about them.
