hey i need help and i need it fast. i have my rear shocks off right now and i tryed to put the new bilstein shock on but they are about an inch off. has anyone else had this problem and what can i do. when i got the shock it didn't say that i need to lower the car. i don't want to lower it. please help a girl out fast. thanks
are they an inch long??? well i had the same issue. what i did was get a couple of pieces of wood, put one on the floor for leverage and using another piece of wood, push the shock up. OR u will have to muscle the shock up and into the hole by pushing up
Maybe try shock extensions.
To lower it, wouldn't you need different springs? I know you don't want it lowered, but maybe the shox are a little shorter than the stockers.
