  • LCA Relocation Brackets w/Hotchkis LCA's & Eibach springs

I got my car lowered with Eibach Pro Kit springs over four years ago and shortly afterward invested in the Hotchkis complete rear suspension package which includes lower control arms and a panhard rod. At that time no one made LCA relocation brackets for the fourth gen, so I never thought to get them.

Recently, though, I've heard a LOT of people highly recommend relocation brackets for drag race launches.

Should I get them? And if so, which brand? I still don't see them on the Hotchkis website... part of me says if Hotchkis doesn't even make them then you don't need them. I have never had uneven tire wear since lowering the car, although I did get an alignment done just after the lowering.

Is there anything brand-specific? i.e. should I avoid a certain brand because they do not work well with Hotchkis LCA's?

weld-on relocation brackets would be the strongest. Like with most companies, hotchkis designs their parts to work together w/ their own products. since their drop springs only drop the car 1", their suspension package will work with them. since the eibach springs lower the car more than 1", the angle of the lca's is affected more than their rear suspension package can deal w/ effectively. increasing the angle of the lca's to the road will always help traction, except in extreme cases. BMR makes a set of them that are weld-on. u can also get a bolt-on set for a little more, but are easier to install.
