wheel leak problem

Ok well I notice my wheel been loosing air slowly the past 2 weeks I would just fill it cause I didn't have time to look into it. Well today I did and used the old soap and water trick to see if I could find where on the tire it was leaking and came out with nothing and out of dumb luck the water ran down the on side of the inner rim and it started to bubble. So it's the actual inside of the rim that is leaking. Does this mean I need a new rim or could I have some on spot weld that spot?

Cracked rim...ouch! Didn't see that pothole or curb?
Be careful with this!! If is a pinhole, than you can have the tire taken off and repair it from the inside with a good aluminum alloy weld or brazing. If it's a crack, then I would either take it to a professional welder or replace the rim alltogether.

If you get the tire off and have other means of transportation, I'll use the aluminum braze on it. I have plenty of it here in my shed. That is, if it's a small hole. I also have a welder with aluminum wire if it's a bit larger. I'm right in NE Philly.

For a pinhole, I'd think a drop or two of good epoxy (one drop each side) would be faster and easier, without any chance of messing with the heat treat of the aluminum by brazing or applying heat to it.

For a crack, yeah, either repair at wheel shop or replace completely.

Thanks for the input guys I think I going to borrow my dad truck on Tuesday and take the wheel down to the wheel shop right down the street and get there opinion and if it’s cheap I let them have at it. Thanks for the offer hockey man but I probably be a PITA with dismounting the tire and what not for brazing it. Yeah its a really slow leak like takes like 2 to 3 days before u notices its low again.
