  • my suspension is SPONGY!! please read within

alright.. i weigh 145 lbs.. and when i sit on the back of my car.. it freak'n squats allll the way down and bottoms it out. I KNOW this isnt supposed to do that..

same applies on all 4 corners.

i dont think i want to lower it. But i wouldnt have a problem doing so.

When i make a turn i get a lot of complaints from people like "damn your car feels so heavy." and i completely agree with them. the body roll is just outta hand and i wanna know what would be the best spring/shock for daily driver. I dont want it to Bouncy but i'd rather it be more stiff than soft.

    thanks.

you can do what i did recently. I went with the SLP take offs, which consists of 4 Decarbon shocks / 4 springs off a V8 Camaro and a 32mm' front swaybar with new stock bushings and endlinks. The SLP take offs are fairly cheap. I've read somewhere that the Decarbon shocks wear out in about 30,000 miles or so, but at least I'm set for another 30,000 miles. Also, the V8 springs are a bit stiffer than the stock V6 springs, so they may not be to your liking but I'm happy with them. As for the swaybar, I went with the 1LE 32mm front swaybar with new bushings and endlinks (which are stock) and I'm really happy with those. For me, they're definately worth the 30 minute install and 50 dollars to purchase the swaybar with endlinks and bushings.

How many miles are on your car? Have you checked to see if your car still has on the original shocks? Also, you might want to do a search on the board to see the opinions of other members on the forum and what shock and spring combo they're using. From reading a lot of them, most prefer the Blistein/Eibach combo. Hope this helps you.
