I just purchased these tires to be mounted on 18's. I read a lot of great reviews on them for dry traction and handling. Suppose to be the "fastest street tires" available. They only have a 200 rating for wear. Anyone running these, and if so, how do you like them??

As far as I knew they had a wear rating of 300. I was going to buy those (basically because they are really popular) but there was a backorder of 8 weeks so I bought Bridgestone Potenza RE750's (very nice tires by the way).
I've heard the G-Forces's have an excellent dry traction and handling but they wear a little bit fast.2002 Arctic White Firebird W68
Installed: FTRA, Carbon Fiber Whisper Lid, K&N Filter, Transgo Shift Kit, Corvette Servo, 160º Thermostat.
Appearance: Potenzas RE750 245\'s, 3M Tint 20% All Around, Clear Corners.
FOR SALE: HPP3

I've ridden along in a few cars autocrossing on these tires (Mini S, Subie WRX, and some others). Traction was great, a little above my Falken Azenis. Good turn-in and nice and fairly progressive at the edge of traction. Stiffness is a little under the Falkens, but stiffer than the Kumho MX.
Nice choice, just wish they were a bit cheaper.Drivetrain Moderator - "There are no stupid questions, only stupid people!"

Thank god everyone's giving it good reviews... I paid around $240 a tire. Funny thing is, I paid about the same price for Michelin Pilot Sports that were 2" smaller (245/50/16).. I really didn't like those tires. They tracked the car into any abnormalities in the road and I didn't like that. I can't wait to get these.. they'll be mounted on Z06 wheels.2004 CE Corvette 10.86@132mph

When I worked at Wal-Mart tire shop, I went to a training seminar in AR. They had reps from diff. tire companys. The thing is, each tire has a rateing that is set by the company to rate against its own tires, there is no standard rateing. I.E. one company's highest rateing is 250, anothers is 400. So you cant realy compare brand to brand on the rateing. If I am wrong, someone please show a national standard.
