  • think its time to upgrade the rotors and pads

I noticed the other day that my braking was a little off then today I wanted to make sure to I made a 110-60 test and I need new rotors real bad. I just replaced the pads like 6 months ago but I replaced them with the cheepest thing advanced auto had thinking I would upgrade in the future. I just ordered a front set of Power Slot rotors from FTPP.net and a set of Hawk pads from Thunder Racing. I have seen a lot of people here running this set up and I am wondering how you guys like it?

Why do you wait until after you order something before you research it? Wouldn't you want to know if they're good before you buy them?

I am not researching them, I just want to know if people liked them or if they later went up to something bigger and better. I guess I didn't say it like that to begin with, my bad

still sounds like you're researching their performance.

I haven't looked into them a whole lot, but I have heard good things about Powerslots.

Don't have Power slot rotors (running autozone replacements front and Brembo's rear) but do have Hawk pads (HP+ competition compound front and HPS compound rear). That setup will flat out haul the Camaro down fast and repeatably, especially with sticky tires on it. Hawk HPS pads all around are ok, but HP+ pads front and HPS pads rear seem to perfectly balance the braking at the limits (with Nitto NT-555RII tires).
