Where to get wheel spacers??

i mounted 265/40/18 drag radials on the back..and on one side the tire is just BARELY rubbing..i think its only over a bump..can i get a spacer for my car to push the rim out a little..and if so..where should i get one??..thanks!

if at all possible, i would avoid using spacers...it moves the wheel out farther and puts more stress on the studs

When I got custom wheels on my other car I had to get spacers too. Most places that sell wheels will have them, mine were only like five or six dollars a piece. I have never heard of it putting stress on the studs though. I am not saying you are wrong but why do you say that?

what 94' Firebird said ^^^ Also, at the track they may not pass you in tech if your studs do not protrude to the outside of the wheels. I had this problem with my front skinnies that I had to use spacers with. It is possible that under high speeds, the wheel could come off because the lugs aren't grabbing enough of the stud. As for buying the spacers, you could call Summit and just try them to see if it works. You might be taking a chance though... and it could be a costly one, so be careful.

If the tire is barely rubbing, you can get buy with a thin spacer, which won't bother the studs much.

The bigger the spacer, the more stress on the studs.

yeah its barely rubbing..there are all different sizes..1/16, 1/8, 1/4..what should i go with?
