• SLP Bilsteins compared to Bilstein HD's

This is some good info for the tech data base since its a question that i have seen come up so many times when people are wanting to lower their cars. I found this on LS1tech after massive searching

Bilstein B46-1913 front
Compression: 159
Rebound: 279

Bilstein/SLP B46-2071 front
Compression: 130
Rebound: 397

As you can see, the compression rate on the SLP Bilstein is only slightly softer than the Bilstein HD. What matters more to me, especially on a lowered car, is the rebound rate. This maintains a controlled, firm feeling when working on uneven surfaces and prevents the "bouncing" feeling with a lower, stiffer spring. If you're using a stiffer spring, I'd go with the SLP Bilsteins!
