  • May get these Sway Bars

    Hi everyone ...

Thunder Racing has a sway bar package from BMR for 32mm front / 21mm rear sway bars with bushings for $270. This doesn't look like a bad setup. The part number on their website for this is 27-SB004. What do you think?

Also, assuming I do get sway bars, how expensive are they to install? I don't have the space/equipment to install them myself. How long would it take for a mechanic to do?

    Thanks

The only equipment needed to install them is a good set of rhino ramps and a socket wrench and a few normal box ends... its very simple to install swaybars, once you get under the car and see how they're installed. I did mine for the first time relatively quickly.

The BMR bars only offer added weight (the front is solid) and a prettier look than 1LE bars. They will not give you much different cornering as the solidness of the front doesn't make much of a difference at all in tortional strength, only weight.

Please read your past post and other posts concerning this if you need more information than that.
