• Anyone know of a good aftermarket rotor?

sorry not sure if its rotor or roter. But anyway, i have has a chronic problem with the rotors on my bird. They only last for like 5,000 miles before they get worse. Taken it to the dealership many times, they tried to say it was the way it was driven, but they finally admitted that gm had a problem with them. Any of you have this. Also with the squeeling brakes. ITs horrible and won't go away. What setups do you have? What are some good aftermarket rotors and pads. The breaking on my car sucks. It is loud and rough. It like bucks when i break. any help would be appreciated.

This is a common problem on 98+ cars.

I recommend either Baer or KVR rotor blanks, and Hawk HPS pads.

That's a good thing to know. I didn't realize the 98+ cars had rotor problems. I have 21,000 miles on my car and no rotor problems....yet.

Never had an issue with my 2000 bird, 24,000 miles til it was totalled.

My 2002 Camaro is as silent as an ant walking on a cotton ball stopping wise and even after a rigorous autocross has not warped yet. 10,000 miles on the car.

Autozone rotors carry a lifetime warranty If they warp or crack you can get new ones for free and they're inexpensive.

I run power slot rotors.
I like them
I still run stock pads though
