  • Anyone else have KYB's AGX Adjustable Shocks?

I have the front struts but have crappy KYB G2 rears. G2's are only $16 shocks. So the front handles nice, but the car still feels too light in the rear. I have had them on for over a year. They were installed with Eibach Sportlines, but I have since replaced them with stock springs :( . Would it be worth it to get the AGX's for the back? Would it help handling to have higher quality shocks in back also? I'm assuming it would, but I seem to be the only one with these shocks? Most of you have Bilstiens or SLP's, and even a few QA1's. Please help me decide?

I have the same shocks in the rear with stock springs, i have the SLP takeoffs in the front. I haven't had a chance to put on the rears, but i'm sure they'll be better. I probably won't ever buy anything from KYB again. I'll let you know when i put the take-offs on this weekend how the ride is.

Sorry, but I don't understand what you did, your story confused me. Are the KYB's on yet? Why are they bad?

I have KYB AGX for all 4 corners and Eibach Pro kit, just have not had the chance to install yet. Are you looking to buy soon?? If you want to wait a few weeks. My BMR gear goes in first then the springs/strut/shocks next.

(shameless plug - if you do buy KYB's, use the tire rack link. the pricing is very good to any others out there)

I just want to know who actually has them on their car in the back and how they like them. I cannot buy them right now. The rear feels really loose and "drifty" and just doesn't feel safe. I need testimony, not sales pitch ;) .

I've got the same KYB Shocks on my car right now that you do (in the rear). I have already purchased the SLP Takeoffs for the whole car. I have the front slp shocks on but not the rear. I'm putting them on this weekend. I'll let you know how much it firms up the rear end. Right now it's looser than mississippi ho down in the delta.

What about the KYB Gas A Just rear? They are only $27 each? They are suppose to be very firm shocks, just not adjustable. Anyone try these?
