can i get Z28 take-off sway bars and see a big difference and not have to upgrade shocks/springs/etc?

I bought front and rear swaybars from a 93 Z28 (the guy gave me the coil springs for free), and after bringing them home, the swaybars were the same size as the ones already on my 96 3.8. I took the swaybars off of the 93 Z28 myself, so I know I didn't get scammed, but it PI$$ED me off that they ended up being the same size. Now, I have extra swaybars and coil springs in my garage.

Only4U, the answer to your question is no, you can't just change the sway bars and see a big change.
