    Will z28 shocks help my cornering and lanches or will i also need the sway bars also. One of my friends said just the shocks will not help at all just make it worst.

    i cant imagine z28 shocks would make your handling worse, but i really wouldnt know....

      Yes, shocks will help. But usually, you put on shocks that are specific to one or the other (straight line launches or cornering). For example, they make shocks specifically to help weight transfer on a straight line launch. They have 10/90 valving in the front pair (10% on the extension and 90% on the compression) which lets the front lift easily but "fall" more slowly and 90/10 for the rear pair (90% on the extension and 10% on the compression) which lets the rear "fall" easily but not lift. That allows rapid weight transfer on the launch to really get the rear tires to stick. You wouldn't want that kind of valving for cornering. For handling purposes, you want a much more neutral valving so that the car is still compliant, but doesn't bounce a lot. The Z28 shocks are going to be the latter kind - stiffer over all, but with a neutral valving. They should be an improvement over stock shocks.

          It is a 95 camaro 3.4l with 108,000 miles on it.
