  • Strut Bar problem

I ordered and received a Srut tower brace from SLP. When i went to put it on, one side will line up but the other side is about 1/2" off, it just will not fit. I have a '96 3.8. I called my friend over with his '97 RS, and it did not fir on his either. The part is #70005A and is made to fit any 93+ v6 F-Body. Does anyone have any ideas??

If its like my BMR it needs to angle back, not forwards. Try turning it around?

Also make sure you're parked nice and level, though I don't expect 1/2" difference if it wasn't..

Give them a call and have them replace it for you.

If it is part no. 70005a it should work because that is the one that is on my car right now. If you line it up without taking the screws out it may look like it won't fit but it will. Just unscrew the nuts and then try to line it up with the bend going towards the window. Hope this helps.
