  • FE2 vs FE4

anyone know the difference between these suspensions??

the parts manual says FE4 as being something like "suspension system special ride and handling" vs FE2 which is "suspension system ride and handling..

is this another designation for 1LE or what?? or something different?

that has nothing to do w/1le.. 1LE is 1LE.. and no v6's came w/ 1LE gear..

Look in the tech database or do a search for RPO codes.. I would look for you but you need to step up and research it yourself.. let us know what you find..

      I never asked if 1LE came on V6's I know it didn't..
      FE4 is not a V6 rpo code..
1LE is not necessarily only 1LE, WS6 has some 1LE parts.. in some cases.. but not all.. at least according to the information I currently have...

      FE2 AND FE4 are V8 codes only..

1LE refers to more than just suspension components by the way.. FE2, FE4, FE7, and F41 all refer specifically to suspension...
in fact just for the front springs there are 45 different entries in the parts catalog. this is for the spring, within these 45 entries some part numbers are duplicated some are not..

The techincal database does mention that FE2 is the normal suspension for the V8, I know all this because I have already read the technical database. This is why I am asking the question becauses that info is not there..

I have also done some searches on the V8 boards..

So please do not tell me to go look elsewhere I know how to search for information if you have nothing to offer please do not bother to respond, I'd much rather have no response to my post than have someone tell me to go look. It's not like this is a common question that comes up every other day like "what exhaust is best" or something like that.

I'm not doggin you dude I just feel that was an inappropriate response to a valid question.
