  • Want to do cheap mods...PHR and LCA (1LE)

Would either or both of these help me with launches on a stock suspension by themselves with no plans of doing any other suspension mods?

Also, how much of a PITA is replacing the bushings? I have heard that that that is all that really makes a difference in the 1LE PHR and LCAs.

Also, can I easily do this my self? PHR is cheap, can I do this first and leave it at just that for a while?

    Thanks alot!

    1) Yes

    2) PITA

    3) Yes, but do both or the LCA first.

      Cool, thanks.

What all would I need to do these? Will ramps work or should I get jack stands? Just curios, why do the LCAs before the PHR?

-Thou shalt always replace LCAs and PHR using jackstands.

-Thou shalt never do both LCAs at once.

-Thou shalt properly torque all bolts when finished before thouest go forth and test thy new mods.

-Thou shalt follow instructions on BMRs website if confusion occurs.

The replacement of the LCA will do more for you.

            Thats awesome.

That doesnt mean i need a torque wrench, does it?

It does if you can't tell exactly how much torque you are applying just by hand. I have one, but it is in Houston right now.
