Does anybody have them? If so, what kind of a difference do they make? I mean, I know they'll lessen the body twisting, but do they make any noticeable difference in cornering or acceleration in normal street conditions?

Simply put...YES!

They make a huge improvement in body flex...etc...

I've notice that my straight-line acceleration is better...
My cornering is better because the body is held together tighter allowing the suspension to do more of the work!

Sfc's are def. worth the money! I just wish I had done is sooner

Yes if you have T-tops, maybe if you have a hardtop. If you plan on autocrossing, check the rules - they may be illegal.

Have heard many good reviews about them. They reduce chassis twist during acceleration, improving traction, reduce brake dive and acceleration squat for more even ride, and more stable cornering at higher speeds. Well worth the cost. Also get a Engine Bay Brace To help with brake dive and cornering.

Aren't we already? I thought as soon as I lose amateur status I am in GT Prepared section. I actually beat a z28, that had slicks on.

Too early to notice? I noticed immediately and i have a hardtop car. To my suprise they seemed to cut down on some body roll which i did not expect from them. A GREAT mod.

I'm thinking hard about them. My car has developed a slight leak in the t-tops in opposite corners (driver front, passenger rear) which makes me think I have a little twist.

Hey, it just occurred to me, I go to the drive through car wash (touchless) and the driver front tire is up on a stop... I bet that creates a little bit of twist. hmmm... May have to resort to hand washing. (not so bad in the summer, but winter is a different story).

Anyway, I still am thinking about them. And the bar for under the hood, across the spring towers.

Cool, thanks all. I'll have to add them in the future, got too many other things I'm paying for now, and the wife wants upgrades for her stuff too (can you say 1+ carats? ) .

Do they help with convertables as well? I've noticed my bros 97 Camaro conv has more shake to it than my car.

They are more effective on converts than they are on t-tops or coupes. Converts need them more.

Just some info I want to throw in. I was reading up in a book on tuning and modifying 3rd and 4th gen f-bodies. It states in for Autocrossing first mod to do is Tires, then for 3rd and 4th gens a Strut tower Brace, then in 3rd gens, subframe connectors, then a roll cage, and in 4th gens a roll cage, then subframe connectors.

They will help on a 4th gen, especially a non coupe, but a roll cage would help more. But then again you are installing a roll cage, which is not easy or cheap.

Isn't there a roll bar that people put in converts? I swear I have seen them on 4th gens, I know I have seen them on other cars, that should really stiffen the chassis.
