I used it once before, but it only solved my problem temporarily. The squeal came back about a week later.
I needed to get my rotors turned, and I replaced my brake pads. They didn't squeal after that.

Brake sqealing usually means that the pads aren't contacting the rotor evenly, which can be worn pads, warped rotors, sticking calipers, etc. or it can be caused by brake dust build-up behind the pads so that the brake pressure doesn't apply evenly across the pad and they vibrate or squeal. You may want to pull the calipers and clean everything thoroughly before you sink any money into replacement parts.

My rotors had about 50k, and pads had about 25k. This is going back to the year 2001. After Dec of 01', I replaced all of my rotors, and installed ceramix pads on all 4 corners.
No squeals or brake dust since... :D

They didn't happen to tell you if the pads were glazed over did they? That can cause sqeaking. If so you cange t a little sand paper and sand the glaze off.

I have kind of the same problem. My brakes only make a small squeeking noise when I either press on the brake or take my foot off, but only for a second. The noise doesn't drag...it just squeeks once.

I know my front rotors are warped, I haven't looked at the front pads. I replaced the rear pads a month ago...
