  • Hang on, more sway bar questions - will 93-97 sways go on 02?

Did a search and didn't find anything on this topic unless my keywords were poorly chosen

It seems to me that the handling on my '02 Camaro isn't near as good as that on my old '94 with same 235/55-16 Eagle GA's. Check of the tech db shows the '02 has smaller sway bars (28/15 vs. 30/17) so I figure that must be it. I'm not a big fan of massive oversteer so I'm hesitant to go to the 1LE bars. I was wondering if the sways from a 93-97 will fit on my '02.

Yes they will fit, however if you're getting new ones I'd highly recomend 1LEs, at least in the front. I've got a stock v8 bar in the rear and I have no oversteer, and it's a great improvement over my stock 97, I love it.

Try the 32/19mm setup if you phear the oversteer.

My 32/21 is nice, but its not for everyone. Its arguably not a great setup either by many, but its what I currently run at the moment... You *do* need larger bars though, stock barring on a 98+ is very pathetic, and is one of the easiest to fix mods. I recommend poly endlinks while you're at it too.

And yes, any bar from 93+ should fit fine.
