Hey Guys
I had a couple questions. What is the weight of the stock rim on the camaros?? Also, I have 17x8 rims and I just ordered 255/45/17 tires to go with it. What do you guys think? Will that look ok? All opinions are appreciated.

Thanks!

yeah they'll look good, same ride height as your stock stuff, so no problems. Shoulda got the 275/40s though!

haha....i dont think 275s would fit on my 17x8 rims. I think that 255 is the largest that can fit on my 8" rims right?

You could make them fit, but they would kinda bow out. Don't worry man 255 is just about the same. It's definately the best choice for the rims. You made a good choice! Good thing to keep the stock tire height too!

What do you mean by that? Is about the same as what?

255 wide tires are only 1" narrower than 275 wide tires... translating to 0.6" or so of tread.

255s are wide enough for V6s realistically .

I think cardinal answered it for me. They are just about as wide. Wide enough anyways. All you get with 275s are bragging rights. ;) .
