check your brakes pads and make sure, sometimes breaks will just do that too, ussually because of the quality of the break pads.

Try this:

Take off your tires... take off the pads and clap them together until there is no more dust coming off, then reinstall and wipe the rotors clean... that should help, at least temporarily...

Eventually, you should just upgrade to better pads...I like Hawk performance pads...they're cheaper then the GM ones, and have much better stopping ability and less brake dust...
I orderd mine from Tirerack.com

Take off your pads, and use a medium grit sandpaper and sand them down until they aren't shiny anymore. Check your rotors for runout while your at it, and that should stop them from squealing.

Don't forget the antisqueal on the backsides of the pads when you reinstall them!

I've had that problem before. It's warped rotors. Replace them or turn them down and you'll be good.
