Thanks for all the info guys. I think I'm going to get a nice set of sub-frame connectors and a stronger tunnel brace. Combine that with a shock tower brace and viola. I think that should do it. Any other words of wisdom before I order my parts? Thanks,
JAM
02 Firebird GT

Well, here is what I am thinking of doing:
BMR Tunnel Brace Part #DTB001 $89.95
LM web-site BMR Shock Tower brace part # STB002 $84.95
LM web-site BMMR Sub-frame connectors part # SFC001 $154.95
Total: $329.85
How does it look fellas? Thinking of a panhard rod too? But not decided. I keep reading all kinds of mixed reviews.
If some of you read my other posts about putting 315's on the rear with 11 inch wide vette rims I think you understand why I want to eliminate as much body flex as possible.
Any sugestions?Thanks,
JAM
02 Firebird GT

For chassis stiffening that looks fine - be sure the STB is the one for V6 cars too. Don't forget those SFCs need to be welded so start looking now for a good shop to do it.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

Only if you lower the car will you need to realign the axle using a PHR to make 315s work. Stock ride height they go in like a dream, they occasionally might scrub on a dip though 2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

Thanks for all the info and help dominic. I think I've got everything I need. It is flat here for the most part, so no real bumps anywhere.
I don't have any plans of lowering the car. Hard enough to climb in and out. (just wait till your older) HA ha! Thanks,
JAM
02 Firebird GT

someone said, "cut them off if they rust"
yea... you try cutting those things off without tearing into your floorpan, f'ing up your stock subframe, or worse yet cutting into a fuel line.
I added the SFCs to my hardtop and the only good they did was save my underbody from a couple of curbs (worth it 2002 Camaro SS 6 Spd
Sebring Silver Metallic
Still breaking it in
Traded in - 2002 V6 5 Spd Camaro.
\"I\'ll never trust squirrels again.\"

I got hotchkis and was very pleased. They are boxed but they don't hang down enough to where they stick out like a sore thumb.
Fit & Finish was also great! Too bad they only come in black but oh well.2002 Camaro SS 6 Spd
Sebring Silver Metallic
Still breaking it in
Traded in - 2002 V6 5 Spd Camaro.
\"I\'ll never trust squirrels again.\"

The BMR boxed are plenty sufficient for the job... and they won't throw you into CSP like the SLP ones will if you decide to ever autocross. The BMR tubulars are fine though, and cheaper - they provide all the stiffness you need without too much added weight.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

Cool deal. I'm thinking of trying the BMR boxed ones. Thought about SLP's... Anyone tried either of those?

I would suggest the tubular ones. Just for the sake of ground clearance. Unless you have a specific reason like I did to HAVE TO GET boxed, then go for the tube ones. Save the 1.5 inches. You'll be happier with speed bumps!!
I'll post pictures of mine shortly.

What was your particular reason for getting boxed? Did you need a new place to jack the car from or something?2002 5-spd NBM Camaro
