Is there such a tire that can fit a 17x11 that is a 305 width?
Thanks,
JAM
02 Firebird GT

According to Tirerack.com, there is one tire that will fit that rim. It's a wrangler with soem serious tread

LOL, anything with some thinner sidewall that might work on our cars? Maybe 35 series or so?? He he

Thats a monster truck tire. How about some high performance radials.

I did all the options for aspect ratio on tirerack...no luck :(

although those wrangler's would look pretty bada$$

i have 17/11.5 wheels in the rear with 315/35/17 tires. i know some one that has 17/11 fiske wheels all the way around. i dont think they make a 305 -17 i know they make it in 18. i was told that they almost identical tread width it depends on wheel diameter

O0oSKAMo0O how did you get the 315's to fit? What offsett did you use for the rear?
Did you have to do any mods to the fenderwells?
Any rubbing or problems?

the tires fit because the wheel is 11.5 inches wide. the wheels were custom built for my dad's old 95 z28 he sold the car and i kept the wheels for mine the fit absolutly perfect there is no fender modifications spacers or any thing they were just built specificlyy for an f body the nicest part is they dont stick out like a rice mobile it basiclly all under the fender take a look at my page to see the picture.if you want the ofsets i can get the number of the guy that forged my wheels

The reason I ask is that I thought of using a 17x11 rear Zo6 w 50mm offset. I have heard some people have no problemes, and others do? Any advise?

i heard the same on the zo6 wheel but the zo6 wheels would look awsome on our cars the are 18 inches in the back with 295 stock tires but i see them with 305 race slicks all the time.good question
