If you have the money go for the Baer Eradispeed rotors....they won't crack if you break them in right. If you don't get semi-metallic pads if you want your brakes to be quiet.

          2000 firebird.

          www.tirerack.com

          Brembo replacement front rotors
          Hawk HPS pads

Rears are likely fine, replace them if you think you need to. Check the rotors and pads for wear before replacing. If you need them, get them. Try fixing just the fronts first.

While your at it, get the brake system flushed whether you or a shop does it. Go with a good DOT4 or 5.1 fluid too.

Why DOT 4 or 5.1 when the recommended is DOT3?

What is the difference? Do 4 or 5.1 resist heating better or what?
