• LCA's... what do they do?

I looked all around the drag racing forum and couldnt understand, and I searched the tech forum, and Lower Control Arm's are mentioned so often that I couldnt go through them all, yet none of the ones that I read answered my question- what do they do?

I read that somebody said that they do alot of highway driving and therefore don't want the lca's- what do they do to adversly affect highway driving?

I think I'm like everybody else- I want to dead hook at the track, so I'm very interested to find out about these. Thanks alot.

They help w/ launching the car. they are alot tronger than the stock LCAs and youll get less wheel hop. I just had my relocation brackets welded in today and w/ moist road,at nite I launched my car at 2000 rpms and didnt get any spin  . Its was great, cant wait to try them at the track

I can't see why you wouldn't want them for the street. They will also help you handle around corners better.

I'm going to move this to the Handling forum. LCA's are discussed often in that forum.

"what do they do to adversly affect highway driving?"

If you get lcas with poly bushings the bushings can bind when cornering. For cornering you need a bushing that can deal with a twisting motion. Buying lcas requires some research.
