  • Adjusting Shocks?

Basically I want to get my car lowered but will adjustable shocks allow me to raise it back up to get into driveways and such?

If so what kinds does everyone recommend or any suggestions on how to do ?

Adjustable shocks generally refer to the damping characteristics, not the ride height. Springs are responsible for ride height. There are some shocks that have an adjustable spring seat that will change ride height, but I don't think they are designed for easy, repeated adjustments like you mentioned with the driveway situation. It may be possible to use some type of air bladder system but I am not familiar with any.

I was trying to stay away form airbags because of cost and added weight that I don't want.

Anyone else know any way relatively inexpensive to adjust ride height?

I got Air Ride air shocks, they ajust up and down with a air compressor, my car is lowered about 2.5 inches. But i gotta pump the shocks up from the outside :(
