Hey all. Well, this past Saturday I replaced the front pads on my 97 bird. The old pads were not completely worn down, but the indicator was close to the rotor (Inspection due this month). Anyway, I all ready replaced the rear pads and rotors last year and thought I had the warped rotor issue gone. Now the front pads are not braking smoothly. They want to grab and just stop. There is plenty of fluid in the resevoir so I was thinking two things. 1. could the higher quality pads actually increase the warping of the crappy GM rotors 2. Were there ever known issues with the ABS system for that year. When I say higher quality I just mean the better Raybestos that you can get at Pep Boys as opposed to the OEM replacements. I put those on the rear as well as putting on new rotors and have not had the warping problem return. I have Been out of the car forum scene for the past year or so, so I would have missed any posts on known issues. Thanks for any help guys,
David
