Finally got the day off, I went and got the Kumho Tires (ECTSA 712's 255/50/16's) installed. Just want to say one thing, "Tirerack RULES!". The Kumho's handle nice, and I can't wait to see how they do in the rain! I'm almost ready to turn a fireplug on to wet the street and drive through it at 70mph.
Eh', I'll wait for the rain.
Those are what I have too.. great traction when you turn and def in the rain... but off the line traction sucks!!! theres no way to get those things to stick unless you melt the hell outta them I hear.. IF you are looking to drag, find a better tire for the rears.

couldnt have said it better myself..unless you have a 17 sec car and no TQ these tires will not hold off the line..i spin them into second easily and i have a an automatic
Don't really matter if they suck off the line, in my opinion. Winter is a comin', and I needed tires...BAD. If I start racing alot, then I'll get a junk set of tires for the back if the Kumho's are that bad. But chances are, I'll keep them on permanently. I'm happy so far, and the price was nice.
